Are You Ready to Nightswap? Win Seven Nights’ Free Accommodation with Cosmopolit Home

I’m pleased to announce the very first competition here on the blog, and it’s a really cool concept to get involved with. Nightswapping is a modern and über-convenient way to see the world, allowing you to stay in other people’s houses and be placed right in the heart of the city you want to explore. That’s why I’ve teamed up with Cosmopolit Home to offer one lucky winner the chance to bag seven nights’ free accommodation in the destination of their choice from the company’s website.

Fancy a week’s accommodation for free in the city of your choice?

“We have a lot of travellers who go to Barcelona, Rome and Amsterdam, as the capitals and big cities are very popular,” says Sarah Leyman, who works for the company. “Equally we also have a lot of accommodation in France, including Lyon, which is a very beautiful place to visit. But the nice thing about our website is that we also have houses and guestrooms in cities that are less touristic and might surprise you, such as those in Belgium.” So you could soon be hanging out in a trendy loft apartment in Antwerp or a chic little place in Paris – the choice is yours.

  10. Maybe Paris as my husband is a francophile, we spent our second date in France! We had our first date 2 days before he was due to work in France, cleaning caravans on his gap year! We spent so much money on texting and calling that I thought I should just book a cheap flight and see him. Our second date was 5 nights long, he cleaned by day as I explored and would bring me home local cheeses from the market and plenty of wine.

I follow both on facebook as Olivia Kirby.

  11. I would love to go to Hong Kong. I have a romantic vision of staying in a home on one of the islands, eating food where the locals visit and not stepping foot in a faceless hotel. I am @nelsonclaire on twitter.

  12. The girl in blue at the bar, blue paint still wet to the touch…that superb bar with the seed-strewn flloor & scowling pianist in Madrid….supercharged roomful of radiograms in Amsterdam. Watching the storm waves crashing on a Louisiana lakeside…all wonderful, but…for some reason it’s the memory of the drums echoing in the underground in Paris for the election, that girl holding the Siamese walking down the road, and the old abandoned wine factory that calls me back…..

  13. I’d love to go to Barcelona. To walk the streets, people watch in sidewalk cafés, to work on my book in a place where adventures and stories are begging to take place, and to watch the flower market wake up at dawn.
